Music City Romance Writers is Nashville's Romance
Writers of America® chapter. Our goal is to provide support,
information, and resources to both published and unpublished authors of
romance, women's fiction and other literary genres. We have designed this site
so that writers can obtain information about MCRW membership, upcoming events, other
sites of interest, and more.
What's New on the Site?

9, 2008: New
newsletter articles posted.
Also, to answer a frequently asked
question about contest entries: Yes, we do mean "first chapter", not
just "first 25 pages". But here's a suggestion: if your first
chapter is a whole lot less than the 25 pages our contest allows, why don't you
move the chapter ending a bit later in your book so you can get a few more pages
in there? That being said, if page 25 ends mid-scene, don't send every
single page you can. You'd be better off moving your end spot a little
earlier so it leaves judges at some awesome cliffhanger.

24, 2008: MCRW is now accepting entries for the 2008 Melody of Love Romance
Novel contest -- and we've gone electronic! Check it
out. We've also posted another Adventure Girl article in our
newsletter section.
February
24, 2008: MCRW Members return from this year's wonderful retreat with many
stories and hopefully photos to come; member roster page
is updated to include links to all available published author sites.
February
13, 2008: 2 new Adventure Girl articles.
Adventure Girl is sustaining our newsletter and our website updates
single-handedly! Also, interview with member and author
Rhianna Samuels.
